Changing the registered address of a company via a 484 form

Please note that when updating a company's registered address, this will take 7 days for ASIC to update and for it to be reflected in Waive after the form has been approved by ASIC.

This is due to Section 142(3) of the Corporations Act 2001 that says of the registered office address:

(3)  A notice of change of address takes effect from the later of:

(a)  the seventh day after the notice was lodged; or

(b)  a later day specified in the notice as the date from which the change is to take effect.
