Step 1 - Press the Edit button located within the company profile:
Step 2 - Choose which information you would like to update for the company - address, officers, shareholders or shares:
Step 3 - If issuing or transferring shares, simply follow the prompts:
Step 4 - Once you have edited all the changes you wish to submit, scroll down and press 'Save Changes':
Step 5 - Select the directors' emails, your agent fee (if applicable for changes), and if you want to edit your agent invoice, and then press 'Generate Document':
Step 6 - The email template will appear, to which you can edit or add in any additional text prior to sending out to the director(s), and select the tick-boxes agreeing to the terms and conditions to proceed to the final step:
Step 7 - You can review the changes and download the form (as well as your agent invoice) to check if all the information is correct prior to sending it to the director(s). Once checked, simply press the 'Save & Send' button to complete the process:
Once you have sent the form to the directors, you can see the status of that form via the Forms tab.
You can see the due date of the form, if it is still awaiting signature(s), how many have signed, if it has been submitted to ASIC, and if it has been rejected or approved by ASIC.
How to send the 484 form to the new director/shareholder for signing:
When adding in a new director or shareholder, you can complete the above process for the form to be signed by the existing directors/shareholders, and once completed, go to the Forms tab and find the form, press the 'actions' button, and select the option to 'send to client' so you can email the form to the new director/shareholder:
A pop up box will appear for you to type in the email address(es) of the new director/shareholder(s):
Please note that when updating a company's registered address, this will take 7 days for ASIC to update and for it to be reflected in Waive:
Section 142(3) of the Corporations Act 2001 says of the registered office address:
(3) A notice of change of address takes effect from the later of:
(a) the seventh day after the notice was lodged; or
(b) a later day specified in the notice as the date from which the change is to take effect.
