How to send an ASIC late fee invoice as an Annual Review to the directors (manually uploading ASIC invoice)

If you have received an email from us stating that ASIC have issued an important document for a company, please open the PDF attachment and scroll to the second page to check what the document and late fees are regarding.

As stated in that email, that invoice has not been sent to the company.
This is at your discretion how and if you choose to inform them that ASIC have issued a late fee.

Please note: if you have already sent out the Annual Review, and the director(s) have not paid, you do not have to add the ASIC invoice (with the late fee) into Waive and/or email it to them via Waive, as the outstanding ASIC balance will be automatically updated for the directors to pay in their director portal.

We recommend you only do option 2 below if you have not emailed the Annual Review to the company (as you were not their agent at the time of the original ASIC AR invoice being issued) but then you received the ASIC late fee invoice.

Option 1: You can forward that ASIC late fee document directly to your client from your mailbox. This will simply be received by them as a single email to the director outside of Waive.

Option 2: In the event where you would like to email the ASIC late fees invoice that you just received via a Waive email as an Annual Review for the first time to the director(s) - simply download that invoice to your desktop, then go to the Invoices tab of the company, and press 'Add ASIC invoice' - upload that invoice, filling out the details, and ensure you select the tick-box that states: "I want to send to client as an Annual Review".

Please note it is important that you enter the correct Due Date so that the system sends out the correct reminder emails to the director(s).

What will happen next is that this will push the review to your pending dashboard, so that you can then email it to the director(s).
This will give you the chance to review the director's contact details, check if/how much you would like to charge for your agent fee before sending it out.

By sending out the late fee invoice as an Annual Review - the directors will receive a director portal link so that they can pay their ASIC balance, and reminder emails will be sent to the directors until the ASIC balance has been paid.
