Transferring your Waive Account to a new ASIC Agent Number

If you are wanting to transfer your Waive account to a new ASIC agent number (for example, due to liquidation, sale of business, or restructuring), please follow the step-by-step process below.

  1. Complete the RA01 form (attached below).
  2. Email the completed RA01 form to ASIC.
  3. ASIC will process your application and issue your new agent number within approximately 14 days.

Tip: Be sure to check your spam or junk folder for ASIC’s confirmation email.

Step 3: Request new EDGE credentials

Once you receive your new agent number:
  1. Complete the EDGE form (attached below).
  2. Send the form to ASIC to request new EDGE credentials.
  3. ASIC will email your new EDGE login details to you.
Step 4: Prepare for the bulk transfer of companies

Once you have your new EDGE credentials, you are ready to transfer your companies from your old agent number to the new one.

This process is called a bulk Form 362 transfer.

Please refer to the below guide:

Step 5: Timing the transfer

It is very important to coordinate the timing of this transfer to avoid any companies dropping off your Waive account.

Once you are ready:
  1. Email us your new EDGE credentials.
  2. Let us know when you are submitting your bulk 362 process to ASIC.
Warning
Note: We have 4 days to update your Waive account after you submit the bulk 362.
If we don’t complete the update in this timeframe, your companies will permanently drop off your Waive account along with all their data and documents and will not be able to be recovered for you.
